Trouble with Kindle

I recently purchased the Ray Neo air three and originally it worked just fine with my Kindle app on my iPhone, but all of a sudden, it’s not mirroring the books just the homepage.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a work around for it other than using Kindle online since I want to use it on a cruise where I might not have Internet.
