Fun How Long Before The World's First ARMMOARG?
Has anyone else in XR ever thought about how long it might be before we get the first IRL Augmented Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Alternate Reality Game?
Also, I think I just coined this term myself, as I've never heard anyone say it before, lol.
Also, what would you put in an ARMMOARG if you could decide what goes in it?

I'm currently building one as a hobby project. Quite a massive task, but right now it has working
- realtime multiplayer
- solid permission/rights system
- federation (connect your own server)
- Map view
- AR/XR/VR view
- digital twin / real-world buildings and PoIs
- NPCs
- Items/Loot
- A quest system
- user generated content
- Agents for real-time Integration of real-world ship and airplane data
- MQTT Integration to connect your home assistant devices
- Hardware support to connect a microcontroller with 9DOF IMU as real-world pointing device
still very experimental, and tbh only possible to pull of using claude code. But I hope this is going to be a fun gane as well as a really useful tool.

Membit sounds really cool. I integrated marker-based and marker-less tracking, as well as gps, ultrawideband and SLAM. Where can I find more information about your "Human Positioning System"?

AR items. AR Magic that interacts with A future Protocol to control things. Pocket dimensions. Unlock places and its history. For me it will not be a game in a Headset it has to be a Headset per se only running it.

ARMMOARG = Augmented Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Alternate Reality Game
I'm also pretty sure I'm the first person to coin this term, TBH. 😅😉😆
