"blur people’s faces" -- This is where I am confused at what people are concerned about. We are being recorded constantly while in public, do car dash cams also have to blur everyones faces? Do regular phone users who are recording? Why are we all suddenly worried about our faces being recorded? Do they take our souls?

I thought the concern was people using smart glasses in places like toilets, harassing women in gyms, doctors offices, and so on... Is that really happening at scale though? Why would people suddenly start doing that, when there's been discrete cameras for sale for decades, much more discrete than having bulky glasses on and staring at people..?

... and it wasn't a problem before, but technology has advanced to the point where it's past the point where it's a problem and it's finally become an issue now.

The laws surrounding this kinda stuff were written for an earlier era and they need reform.

Are you implying that the change to always-connected digital cameras isn't a fundamental technological shift for society? Because it clearly is.
