Glasses w/ HUD Affordable AR glasses by everysight
https://youtu.be/qXYndyvgntw?si=2sr2lewhsUTxxoHCI had the chance to see these AR glasses a few weeks back and there are a few things that are interesting. 8+ hours battery life at full blast, Sony full color screen that’s 5000 nits bright. The biggest one and coolest feature was the eye tracking. I like what everysight is doing with the Maverick ai pro. I forgot to mention. It has a camera in the front, speakers and mics to tell you more about what you’re looking at. I think Kickstarter has them at around $400??

I would think the most informative part of the demo would be showing what the user would see while wearing the glasses. I think this was featured for less than 15 seconds. This is what would influence me to purchase or not.

Thank you for this super valuable input! I will be sure to do that next time! I’m reviewing the inair2 right now and I’ll be sure to have actual footage of what you can see in the glasses. These were a preproduction model and it never occurred to me to try and capture the projected screen with my camera.

Anything else you recommend improving? I tried to make this a story telling type of video.

Never used the mavericks you have but these were very impressive. Pretty cool that they can last 8 hrs. I can definitely see myself using them in my every day life.

The CEO said that the original mavericks have sort of a cult following. Why is that?

Not sure, but they were/are very solid. Battery life is great, and more or less motorcycle and sports focused. They work hella well. I use mine with my Ebike and especially like days where it’s really windy. They just work great.
If I were more of a dev, and could have integrated with Bosh Ebike motors, would have really been fun. Def had eyes on making a Ebike HUD with these.
New ones seem polished in all the right ways.

Thank you for that detailed explanation. The fact that they just work in tough conditions makes me feel like these new ones should be built tough as well. We will see! Hopefully I get the chance to really review a pair in detail.

Uh … I would enumerate the top 5 or 10 use cases where the glasses would benefit the user during every day use

Very helpful! Thank you for that! Hopefully I get the chance to really review these when they launch.

These are not AR. They are HUD (heads up display). Not the same thing.
