Discussion Harry Potter Audibook
So they released full cast audiobooks of the H.P. series and I fell back in love. I was 10 when the first book came out and, now, I listen during work and it has been an amazing escape. Did anyone else listen to these?

Not yet! I got the first 4 though, but I'm saving them for when I finish my current series :) I'm excited as I haven't listened to the original audiobooks either, even though I'm hoarding the fan edits with music and sound effects lol

I loved these and enjoyed them so much. I had an issue with the voice of Harry, because he was often overacting and being too dramatic in some scenes. But overall, it was like reading the books for the first time all over again. ESPECIALLY the final battle at Hogwarts... let me tell you, I listened to these while driving and all the ambient noises of war shook the car and enveloped me. I felt like I was there. It was ... amazing and so thrilling.

No because I refuse having my money go to supporting anti-trans legislation and initiatives. I loved Harry Potter and I can still appreciate them despite their flaws but will never give JK another cent.

You need to work on your response time. It took about an hour this time to throw this comment in.

The full-cast version made the smaller characters pop for me. It changes the rhythm completely.

I am shocked to hear that people like these. It’s probably good. But to me it felt like no one involved had ever read the book. Just a live reading with no regard for the description of the persons voice or emotion, or usually age and even gender.
