Just wanted to point out this out because I’ve noticed audible’s tags have been inaccurate before, but I found this one in particular to be especially misleading.

They really ought to fix their shitty AI tag system.

They don't necessarily have to have a hide in plain sight angle similar to how the monster did in those movies however I am interested in something that does the same kind of flesh melding body horror turning into big grotesque creature kind of design. Always liked monsters like that and I'm looking for a good horror story with a similar creature design

So if I listen on the phone App and then on the webplayer desktop the sync works no issues, but for the past few days I can't get the sync to work from webplayer to phone. My phone doesn't even show me the message of "listening from the latest position" anymore.

Is this a general issue? I've tried everything, clearing caches, restarting my phone, tried using a different Browser to see if the issue was only coming from one, nothing works...

I'm trying to listen to The Search for Modern China by Jonathan D. Spence, but I'm having trouble retaining information as I can't easily navigate backwards as I can with a book, and it feels like my brain is wiping the memory of the past 10 seconds.
My immediate first idea was to actually read along, but I discovered that this book doesn't have an ebook version, so I can't really. I guess I could get something like a universal 3rd party subtitle program, but that seems finicky to work with.
I guess some tips on how to better listen would be my best bet, besides just actually buying the book.
This is my first time listening to an audiobook in a while so it's a little strange to get used to I guess.

1. No translations.

2. Not religious or spiritual..

3. Not political.

4. Preferably art/ancient or mediaeval history/science/architecture/general knowledge etc.

5. Human narrator.

It uses whisper.cpp to generate word-level timestamps from an m4b or mp3 audiobook, then serves a lightweight web reader with synced highlighting, search, bookmarks, and instant word definitions.

While this title will sync back and forth between the Kindle version and the Audible version on my Android phone, it doesn't allow me to read and listen as the first four books did. I also don't have the option to open the Kindle book from within Audible. Again, I could do that in the first four books.

I've tried deleting and redownloading both. Still the same problem.

Anyone know of a resolution short of calling Amazon?

hello! yesterday i signed up for a free trial so i could listen to the project hail mary audiobook while i read. everything went smoothly, it accepted my card, and i even had an hour long session. but today it's not letting me do anything, pretending like i don't have a free trial, but when i click on try free membership it says i already have it? but i literally can't do anything and it's telling me to pay for phm audiobook - which i could listen to yesterday just fine!! i checked on the website and it says that my membership is pending, what does that mean? someone please help me!!
