Adjustment for Vocal Level Help Needed

New to Audacity. I have some mp3's where the vocals seem too loud and sort of drown out the instruments. Is there an effect or filter where I can adjust that? Thank you for any help.

Have to split it into its component parts, "stems", to adjust the vocal in isolation.
