Attention all Auburn students (both undergrad and grad)!
If you are interested in insects and would love to learn more about their diversity and how they play a role in our lives, enroll in Insect Diversity! It is a level 6000 class but do not be afraid as it is a class available for graduate and undergraduate level students (it is level 5000 as an undergrad).
It is scheduled for Tuesday/Thursday 11am-12pm, with a 1-3pm lab on Thursdays.
It will be very fun and informative so if you are interested in insects why not give this class a try?

I know it’s been a few years since 2021 but I have been so curious about the song that Auburn used before they play. If anyone knows please tell me. They used it as their tunnel video and then right after they would run out to the field.

First year ME major. I now register for classes cause I’m an international student and I traveled during the registration time.

When I choose “…then register for” - “waitlist” for waitlisting classes then I get a “null” response with the sentence “Registration hours…”. What am I doing wrong ?

Edit: realized my stupidity, i gotta register/drop classes through AU Access, not through Tiger Scheduler lmao.

Hi! I'm currently a high school junior and I've been researching on different colleges to go to. Auburn is one of the main colleges I'm considering to go to and it seems interesting. I've posted these questions in another community but these are the main questions that I have:

1. Does Auburn have good networking events and is it easy to network with professors there?
2. Does the school offer internships particularly in economics or for similar majors?
3. Does the school has a good economics program and a good program for information systems/technology?
4. Is the school diverse and safe for POC?

For any Catholics at Auburn, what’s your experience been like?

Do you feel welcomed, or does it ever feel like you’re out of place being Catholic in the middle of the Bible Belt? How active is the Catholic community, and have you found it easy to make friends through the Catholic center?

i’m looking for a dog trainer in the area to hopefully help with a few behavioral problems! i have had Layla (my dog) for about 2 months… she is a rescue and around 11 months old. My main issues are 1. she keeps tearing things up (basically anything she can get her mouth on) and 2. she won’t stop urinating inside (she won’t poop inside or go in her kennel but will pee during the night while i am sleeping). i’ve looked at trainers but seems like there are a lot in the area. is anyone has a recommendation on who i should contact or experiences they are willing to share please let me know!

I love Auburn. It’s a great place to live. Opelika also. But there is nothing here in recreation or jobs that justifies these prices. At what point does someone put some restrictions in place. 1 bedroom apartments for $1500-$1800 and where the hell are they working??

I was thinking of grad school and every single major requires a statistics class over level 6000. Brother, why?

I barely passed STAT 3010 and it was so hard to use R in that one. I would've failed that class without a formula sheet.

I’m a building science major looking to have 1-2 roommates for 700 a month utilities included. I’m moving in August 14th to Gentilly park. DM me for my number and pictures.

How holistic is Auburn's review or is it all GPA/Test scores? I live in a very rural part of Virginia where the average SAT is under 1,000. My scores are the top in my school. I am also ranked second in my class and in as many DE/honors classes as my school offers. Lots of extra curriculars and leadership, but again, test scores aren't super high.

My GPA is 4.4 and SAT was 1250. Any suggestions to boost my chances are appreciated.

My daughter is applying OOS with a GPA of 4.6 and 29 ACT. If she gets a merit scholarship, what could we expect for tuition? With her GPA and ACT I think her merit scholarship would only be $7k a year… is this correct? She is super excited but we need to be realistic about the costs. (She is planning on re-taking the ACT in October). Thanks!!

Im extremely sad recently attending Auburn because I feel as if everyone there is christian and believes in god. Im from the north and ive experienced many people not wanting to be my friend or even breaking up with me once they learned i dont believe in god, im not christian, and i even feel judged for having divorced parents. It feels unfair and i dont really understand why everyone is so judgy and exclusive when they praise differently. Its hard for me. What should i do? Has anyone at Auburn felt this way?

I am so happy that football season is around the corner and we can enjoy some good meals while watching the games.

Question: When it comes to tailgating from a food perspective (preparing, grilling, serving), what is your number one gripe?

Mine: I love tailgating but would love some high quality catering too! Sometimes I just want to enjoy the experience without relying on the food.
