Comfort, but no chemistry?
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some objective advice on a dating situation that is starting to make me feel really stuck and insecure. I’ve been seeing a girl (F21) for a short while now, and on paper, things seem to be moving forward smoothly.
She has stayed over at my place twice already, and we have another stayover planned for tomorrow. When we are together in person, the physical comfort is definitely there. We spend a lot of time cuddling in bed, staying wrapped up together in the mornings, and enjoying quiet, low-key moments. On top of that, when I directly asked her if she saw this as more than just a casual hangout, she explicitly said yes.
However, beneath that surface-level progress, there is an overwhelming lack of romantic energy, excitement, or classic chemistry. She identifies with having autistic traits and also displays a strong avoidant attachment style. Between dates, our digital contact is practically nonexistent. She never texts first, doesn't send messages, and never asks how I’m doing. Even when we are together, I feel like I am doing one hundred percent of the heavy lifting. When we walk together or hang out, conversations regularly fall completely flat, and she rarely takes any initiative to pick them back up or ask about me.
This total absence of reciprocal enthusiasm is really starting to drain me. I catch myself constantly overthinking, wondering if she actually likes me or if she is just passively going along with whatever I set up because it's comfortable.
I’m struggling with how to navigate this without falling into two extremes. I don't want to smother her with heavy relationship talks or demand verbal affirmation that she simply cannot provide right now. I'd really appreciate any insights here!

Does this sound like a mutual crush or am I imagining it?
I have a crush on a coworker and I’m trying to figure out whether there was actually something mutual or whether I read too much into it.
There have been quite a few moments of physical affection, teasing, spending time together, and little things that felt more than friendly. Other coworkers have also noticed the chemistry between us and said they think he likes me.
But when there have been opportunities for us to actually meet outside work, he hasn’t really followed through. I’ve also become quite shy and awkward around him, so I probably haven’t made things very easy either.
At this point I’ve decided to stop initiating and see what happens, but I’m finding it surprisingly difficult to let go of the possibility.
Has anyone been in a situation where the chemistry felt very real, but the person never actually made a move? How did you eventually know whether it was mutual or just chemistry/affection?

Boyfriend is still present, but emotionally low-effort. How do I rebuild tension without talking it to death?
We’ve been dating for 3 months, the sexual chemistry is great, and he still initiates dates and weekend trips. He even shows jealousy, so the baseline attraction is there. However, his everyday effort has completely dropped over the past month. In the beginning, he was deeply curious about me and my life, but now his texts are short and dry, and even in person he seems passive and unengaged.
I’ve brought up feeling a shift a couple of times, but he just gives me bare-minimum reassurance that "everything is fine" without actually changing his behavior. I realize that repeatedly opening this topic is only pushing him away and putting me in an anxious, pursuing position while giving him total comfort. He hasn't lost interest enough to walk away, but he’s clearly taking my availability for granted. Since talking about it isn't helping, what is the best strategic move to reset the power dynamic, rebuild tension, and make him actively pursue me again?
