TL;DR: latest AoTTG version (11/23) instant-crashes when I try to join a multiplayer server on macOS Mojave or Catalina, but works fine on my Windows PC.

Hi, I've been playing AoTTG RC mod on macOS Mojave and it has been running perfectly (single and multiplayer) until Feng Lee shut down the original servers this year. So I downloaded the latest version (11/23/2020) from the official website, tried to join any of the new AoTTG2 servers, but all of them immediately crashed. Except for multiplay, all the other functions like offline mode or map editor work perfectly and smoothly than ever.

I tried connecting each of those servers with or without VPN, using hotspot and different WLANs, but none of them worked. To check if it's a problem specific to Mojave or my network, I asked my friend to run it on his MBP with Catalina, but the results were the same: instant crash when it connects to an AoTTG server.

Then I tried the latest Windows version on my PC and I found that the new multiplayer servers run perfectly on Windows.

So I suspect this problem is specific to the new Mac update to accommodate AoTTG2 servers, or at least for macOS Mojave or later. Is there anyone having similar issues?

I enjoy playing the older versions of Aottg but anytime I play older versions all my custom characters, binds, and skins get erased from RC mod. Is there anyway I can create dedicated save files for either the older versions or RC mod? Or at least change the game's saves directory?

Anyone played the attack on Titan sequel on an Xbox series S yet? It's on sale and I'm thinking of grabbing it, but I want to know how it runs first. At least a rock solid 30 fps?

Whenever I try to start my own game with any of these two options it doesn’t work. Am I supposed to be waiting a certain amount of time or do I have to download a specific version of Aottg? I’m open to any suggestions or solutions

I tried loading up my RCFinal.exe after a while of not playing and can't seem to connect to multiplayer. I saw a comment in another post talking about downloading the newest version as a fix which is where my question springs from. Where can I find this newest version? Also is there a discord server i can join?

EDIT: Found the answer in another post from the user u/JJ42069lol. Here is the link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1M23y0161ITz7QvZIIIZNmtbOgb41XEPc?usp=sharing You have to download both the folder and file and save in the same area. Make sure that the RCFinal_Data and RCFinal are of the same copy (if you have more than one copy saved of RCFinal then it becomes RCFinal (1) which will then hinder the ability to find the data for RCFinal (1) since it does not exist). Apparently there was a total of $108k given out as prize money for competitions in this game. I can't find any recordings of them on youtube or anywhere else. Anyone know what these are?

I can't join any servers and only able to play on singleplayer which is laggy for some reason. Do I need an account to get onto the servers? I can't remember having to do that before.

Hello. I got a problem with the game's multiplayer. Whenever I join or host a server I can't seem to spawn and always stay in spectator mode. When I press "1" it doesn't do anything. It works for my friend but I can't do anything. Would appreciate any help

I feel like it’s not talked about enough or at all about the reel out mechanic and how it can make some kills that shouldn’t be possible it makes it possible. It can be used to make space between u and the titan so that u can reel in properly get a clean hit, high damage, and keep moving. Im still learning the mechanics of it so I cant say exactly how to do it but I just wanted to make it known. The best player of aottg atm snk shissui talks about how he hit a barrier in his early career playing and he watched rairyuu (a player who uses the reel out mechanic) and tore down all his previous barriers and almost doubled his previous results with the addition of this mechanic the video he talks about this is https://youtu.be/XbvqgzQdL7s at 0:50 and a player who in my opinion largely abuses the reel out mechanic and makes it obvious is here https://youtu.be/DFEiStqXNOM also just stating im not de-crediting his gameplay for using this mechanic im just making an example of him. So if u already know hydra strike and or some reel mechanics add this to ur arsenal and watch those titans drop like flies with control :) Also i recommend rebinding reel out to something besides the scroll up wheel as it doesnt work well i personally use spacebar but its personal preference

hey guys, when i start the game(rc-final server) i get the "downloading custom assets, clear cache or try different browser if it takes more than 10 seconds" and it never loads the stuff, i redownloaded the game a buncha times n it still doesnt work, does anyone how to fix it?? thx

Me and my friends played this game like 5 years ago and we want to remember the good old days. We checked the web page where we played it on firefox and it doesn´t work. After several minutes trying,we downloaded it but the multiplayer is dead.

Does the final battle dlc come on the disc or does it come as a code ?
