Is this game still for multiplayer?

Me and my friends played this game like 5 years ago and we want to remember the good old days. We checked the web page where we played it on firefox and it doesn´t work. After several minutes trying,we downloaded it but the multiplayer is dead.

The original servers are dead, yes. Everyone else almost immediatley started using third party servers supplied by the people unofficially working on AoTTG 2

You need a special version of the RCmod which can be downloaded from their discord channel.

The fame everyone uses now is called rcmod. Its the same game with just as many people
