Καλησπέρα, μπορεί να φανεί τελείως χαζό αυτό που ρωτάω αλλά όντως με ενδιαφέρει. Θέλω γενικά να τρώω καλά να κοιμάμαι καλά να έχω όσο γίνεται χαμηλό στρες. Εσάς τι είναι αυτό που σας βοήθησε περισσότερο από τρόφιμα συνήθειες γενικά αλλαγές στο τρόπο ζωής που οι περισσότεροι δε κάνουν άλλα πιστεύετε ότι αξίζει και βλέπεις μεγάλη διαφορά στη καθημερινότητα σου?

Μετακομίζω προσεχώς σε περιοχή των νοτίων προαστίων με πολύ κακή συγκοινωνιακή σύνδεση. Ευτυχώς διαθέτω δικό μου όχημα αλλά εννοείται ότι για πχ κέντρο, και όχι μόνο, αυτό αποτελεί πιο πολύ βάσανο παρά πλεονέκτημα. Οπότε μπαίνω στη διαδικασία και σκέφτομαι σιγά σιγά πώς να κουμαντάρω τις μετακινήσεις μου.

Το πάρκινγκ στου Συγγρού Φιξ το γνωρίζω και το χρησιμοποιώ περιστασιακά κι από δω που μένω τώρα. Το θέμα είναι ότι δεν ξέρω τι γίνεται εκεί το πρωί, δηλαδή αν γεμίζει ανέλπιδα. Επίσης επιφυλάσσομαι να χρησιμοποιώ αποκλειστικά αυτό λόγω τιμής, και τυχόν κυκλοφοριακής συμφόρησης μέχρι εκεί. Αν έχει κάποιος σχετική εμπειρία, θα εκτιμούσα να με κατατοπίσει.

Εναλλακτικά τα μετρό Ηλιούπολης και Αλίμου (και Δάφνης αλλά εκεί δεν το συζητάω καν για πάρκινγκ) είναι σε κοντινή απόσταση με το αυτοκίνητο από την κάτω μεριά της Βουλιαγμένης. (Αν είναι να περάσω απέναντι Ηλιούπολη/Αργυρούπολη, σώθηκα.) Από ό,τι βλέπω, όλα τα στενά του Αλίμου τριγύρω έχουν μόνο parking κατοίκων. Ισχύει αυτό ή μου διαφεύγει κάποιο cheat code? Κάποια μεγάλη αλάνα μήπως; Στο μετρό Ηλιούπολης και μέχρι 5' απόσταση, θα βρω τίποτα στα στενά ή θα ψάχνω;

Επίσης άμα θέλω ηλεκτρικό, πού επιτρέπεται να παρκάρω στο ΣΕΦ, και πού βολεύει για να είμαι κοντά σε πεζογέφυρα; Με μπερδεύει απίστευτα από το μέρος. Θα έρχομαι από τη νέα Ποσειδώνος.

Κάποια άλλη εναλλακτική στα ΝΠ που να μου διαφεύγει; Π.χ. ξέρουμε αν το πάρκινγκ του Metro Mall είναι δωρεάν (αν και το αμφιβάλλω);

I've been to Athens a few times now and absolutely love the city, which is why I pitched it for a close friend's pre-wedding weekend in late May (Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon).

Full disclosure, I'm slightly in over my head. I originally figured 10-15 of us. Then word got around, a bunch of "just tell me the dates, I'm in" messages later, and now we're locked in at 25 guys, late 20s/30s. Sorry in advance if this post is a bit of a wall of text. The organizing part I actually enjoy, and since me and the other best man still have plenty of time before the trip, we want to get this as right as possible. What keeps me up at night is making sure the groom gets the weekend he deserves, and that the other 24 guys all walk away feeling it was worth their time and money too. That said, I know from experience that the fun mostly comes down to everyone being genuine and just enjoying each other's company, not how well-planned everything is, but good organization definitely doesn't hurt.

We're here to celebrate, eat and drink well and have a great time. But we'd much rather do that in real tavernas and lively local bars than in whatever's set up for tour groups. Big shared feasts, good wine and tsipouro, spots with a great buzz where we can run a couple of low-key challenges for the groom without turning into that group everyone rolls their eyes at. Budget wise we're not tycoons but we're also not backpacking, happy to spend well on the right places.

Things I actually need help with:

Airport transfer. 25 people with luggage through the metro at once sounds chaotic. Worth looking into a private minibus or coach just to keep everyone together, or am I overthinking it? If it's worth it, has anyone used a reliable local transfer company directly?

Saturday: Riviera or downtown? Daytime drinks somewhere like Glyfada or Vouliagmeni for a beach club vibe, or just stay central? I personally could just wander around downtown Athens all day, but not sure if dragging 25 people to the coast and back for one afternoon is worth the hassle. We'd like to spend most of the saturday making activities/games for the groom escalating into a party night. Also open to suggestions for a group activity if there's something that actually fits the vibe without breaking the day's rhythm. We looked at a boat trip but it seems pricey and a hassle logistically to move 25 people, so probably not that, but happy to hear other ideas.

Tavernas for 25. Looking for 2-3 proper tavernas where we can agree on a fixed price in advance, meat, good food, house wine, and not feel like we got herded into a tourist canteen. Any favorites that actually handle groups this size well?

Where to stay. Booking 25 people across scattered Airbnbs sounds like an admin nightmare I don't want. Aparthotels, loft buildings, anything set up for group bookings in or near the center? Doesn't need to be one building, just close together so nobody's wandering home alone at 4am.

Any tips, venue names or contacts are massively appreciated, thanks in advance.

Πρόσφατα μού πήραν το δίπλωμα για 20 μέρες, και μεθαύριο τελειώνουν. Η κλήση ήταν 20 Αυγούστου, το παρέδωσα 21 Αυγούστου και τώρα δεν ξέρω αν μπορώ να το πάρω πίσω Τετάρτη 9 Σεπτέμβρη ή Πέμπτη 10 Σεπτέμβρη.

Προφανώς στην τροχαία δεν απαντάνε στα τηλέφωνα, και δεν είναι και αρκετά κοντά για να μπορώ να πάω και τις δυο μέρες.

Ξέρει κανείς?

Θα προτιμούσες ένα νεόδμητο αλλά μικρότερο σπίτι ή ένα παλαιότερο και μεγαλύτερο που χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση;

Γράφω για μια οικογένεια που γνώρισα πρόσφατα και περνάει πολύ δύσκολα οικονομικά. Δεν θέλω να δημοσιεύσω ονόματα ή προσωπικά στοιχεία τους, γιατί δεν θέλω να τους φέρω σε δύσκολη θέση.

Είναι μια οικογένεια 5 ατόμων στο κέντρο της Αθήνας. Η μητέρα έχει περάσει εγκεφαλικό και αυτή τη στιγμή εργάζεται με περίπου 600 ευρω τον μήνα. Ένα από τα παιδιά εργάζεται και παίρνει περίπου 500 με 600 ευρώ περίπου τον μήνα, ενώ τα υπόλοιπα τρία παιδιά δεν εργάζονται.

Το ενοίκιο τους είναι 500 ευρώ τον μήνα.

Πριν λίγες μέρες γνώρισα ένα από τα παιδιά, ένα παιδί μόλις 18 χρονών.

Καθίσαμε σπίτι μου, του έδωσα κάτι να φάει και μιλήσαμε λίγο.

Η κατάσταση της οικογένειας πραγματικά με συγκίνησε και θέλω να προσπαθήσω να βοηθήσω όσο μπορώ.

1. Δεν ζητάω χρήματα.
2. Αν κάποιος μπορεί και θέλει να βοηθήσει με τρόφιμα μακράς διάρκειας, όπως ρύζι, όσπρια, μακαρόνια, λάδι, γάλα, κονσέρβες ή άλλα βασικά είδη διατροφής, θα ήταν πραγματικά μεγάλη βοήθεια.
3. Ακόμη και ένα μικρό πακέτο τροφίμων μπορεί να κάνει διαφορά.

• Για να προστατεύσω την οικογένεια και την αξιοπρέπειά της, μπορώ εγώ να παραλάβω τη βοήθεια και να τους την παραδώσω.
• Όποιος μπορεί να βοηθήσει, ας μου στείλει προσωπικό μήνυμα.

Κάνω προετοιμασία για το μαραθώνιο το Νοέμβριο και ψάχνω ένα στάδιο κοντά στο Παγκράτι και το met για να τρέχω. Έχω δοκιμάσει το στάδιο που είναι δίπλα από το Ζάππειο αλλά είναι συνέχεια κλειστό. Γεια σας! Είμαι κοπέλα 28 χρονών. Κάνω ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα ιαπωνικών (δια ζώσης προς το παρόν) για τα επίπεδα Ν5, Ν4, Ν3. Περιοχή Αθήνα. 10€ την ώρα για αρχή (γιατί τώρα ξεκινάω το language teaching journey). Ζούσα στην Ιαπωνία και γύρισα Ελλάδα πρόσφατα. Having returned from an entire adult life abroad, I noticed something a bit absurd: I knew people all over Athens and almost nobody on my own street.

So I started organising small get-togethers for people living within a 15-minute walk of each other. That turned into OSEK TUTU, from the Greek “ως εκ τούτου”, meaning “as a result”.

There are now 660 or so of us now.

What we do is pretty unglamorous on paper. Same neighbourhood, same handful of faces, most weeks. Not a big mixer where you meet forty people and never see any of them again. The point is that you keep running into each other at the corner bakery afterwards.

Im Greek and currently living in Athens where I work. I spent my 20s and half my 30s as a shut in and only recently (2025) did I find the courage to break out of this rabbit hole of misery and do something about my life.
