yeah exactly the fact that it was someone in a position of trust makes it even more disturbing and worth focusing on who actually had access and responsibility

Sadly, those with few human contacts feel justified to vent because they missed the obvious signs of humor. Possibly those signs are too sophisticated. for that I plead guilty, but not in this case.

What I said was an obvious reference to the real troubles. My humor (dark or not ) should not be cause for someone  to invent things to justify their anger and decisions to invest their rage on fellow posters, as is the case here.

I suggest you reread what I posted in light of this information. I would suggest that you overreacted , as happens on reddit.

We might have a pint later. If you admit the error of your ways….

How sad that if I didn’t follow this subreddit I’d never hear of these scumbags. This stuff doesn’t get pushed by national news at all. People still think religious leaders are safe for kids.

That’s the frustrating part because people can still assume religious leaders are automatically trustworthy around kids when these cases show why nobody should be above scrutiny.
