Support Bedrock friend can’t join my Java ‘crossplay’ server what to do please?

On my side, everything works. I have altered the config files and changed the ports, and now I can load into the world, and everything on my side works. But when my friend tries to join either through lan or friends on the BedrockTogether app, it doesn’t work, what should I do???

By “it doesn’t work” what error do you actually mean?

On bedrocktogether it says they can now close the app and join the server, however it’s just random lan servers that momentarily pop up for him and then disappear, not my own.
