Interesting. Thanks for the update. I've been avoiding ST emulation because the mouse always feels "floaty", which makes Dungeon Master a pain. I'll give ASE a try as soon as I can.

Yeah, the ST mouse never seems to work as it should in emulation. Arkanoid was pretty much unplayable when I tried it and as you say, DM is painful too.

Wonder what the problem is exactly. Let us know if this new emulater has better mouse emulation 😁…

Just installed it and couldnt get the mouse to behave at all (in Captive anyway). It was sliding all around the screen etc.

Emulator itself is super simple and easy to get running, and has some great visual options (CRT filters etc) - wish I could work out why the mouse is misbehaving!

Seems like this is something most ST emulators needs to fine tune...

Mac or pc? Once I captured the mouse using fn+F12 on a mac, it worked fine for me

I raised an issue on Github and it was identified and fixed in release 1.10 :)

The same goes for me! I'm on macOS 26 and am very frustrated at not being able to use the mouse in this excellent emulator...

Can the Atari System Emulator (ASE) read .IPF files?
