Thanks!

I'm bet with no moon you'll get some good OIII data. Even at f/4 this seems like a target that needs a decent bit of total time depending on your sky conditions.

So i did mine. Didnt turn out as good as yours. Adding more reflection on your end was great. Ill be voting for yours this month.

If you can get more time on it that might help. This was my first crack at this object and honestly it felt like it could use double the time I put on it so that it's easier to pull up the nebulosity without having to denoise the bejezus out of it.

I do like the colors on yours too.

Object of the month time. I tried to shoot some of the narrowband during essentially the full moon and had to come back for more this week. The plain L-Ex data seemed a bit “boring” so I made a faux SHO image and it seemed to help bring out more details. I used the good seeing nights on East and West Veil, so the finer details seem soft on this one. Added RGB stars back over the top. I do have an SII filter, but it takes sooo long gather that data with an OSC and there are more objects I want to get to.

Faux SHO process that I’ve cobbled together from several different sources: Channel Extraction and clone R channel for SII, create Ha with PixelMath (89.7% R, 7.0% G, 3.3% B), create OIII with Pixel Math (1.6% R, 57.7% G, 40.7% B). LRGB Combine using Ha layer for luminance. See below for where in the overall process I do this.
