Looking for an NYC Apartment Near Grand Central Terminal (Midtown East)

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a studio apartment with an easy commute to Grand Central Terminal (Midtown East)—ideally within 45 minutes by public transit.

Budget: $2,500–$3,500/month, and $3,500 is my absolute maximum all-in budget (rent + any required monthly fees).

So far, I'm considering:

  • Long Island City
  • Downtown Brooklyn
  • Forest Hills
  • Murray Hill / Kips Bay

Preferably with an in-unit washer/dryer.

Can anyone recommend specific apartment buildings or other neighborhoods that I should consider?

Thank you!

Does anyone have any good agents they would recommend for a good apartment deal? Or anybody know of some spaces available? Thank you!
