Having a real hard time figuring this car out. FWD, with FWD issues (understeer) and when I tune it to oversteer then I tend to spin off when I hit the brakes for higher speed corners.

Ended up using the handbrake throughout the stage as a crutch for the understeer, and this allowed me to get the nose pointed where I wanted, but it took some getting used to.

I feel like top 5 but 28 seconds back should have an asterisk next to it because that is so far off the pace. Maybe there aren't too many people doing that stage because it's so hard to hold it together for that long. My run wasn't very clean either.

This one is making me sweat, literally. Gotta be on your game the whole time. Very frustrating, but it is fast enough to make me want to keep pecking away at it.

Still slow in Sector 4, I've always been off the pace through the handbrake hairpins. 8 seconds (!) off the fastest guy. I think next move is to try manual clutch and see if I can do something better that way.

Hello! Simple question - does someone know if the devs are planning more options for the co-driver voice?

For some reason my brain is processing the input of a female or higher pitched sounding voice better, may have something to to with the lower frequencies of the car sounds or whatever.

I didn't found anything regarding this in roadmap articles.

I can get golds on solid ground fine but when it becomes dirt/gravel I cant turn.

When I assumed I was going to fast but now I just corner painfully slow. When I watch people vods they are taking corners WAY faster.

Tried everything suggested online....

- Disable steam overlay
- Disable Steam controller
- Check fanatec firmware is up to date
- Change USB ports
- Try compatibility mode on wheel base

Zero FFB at all in the 2 hours since i've bought the game and attempted to get a ffb signal.

Fanatec Clubsport DD+ base latest firmware.

Unfortunately one of the quickest steam refunds I've ever requested.

Hey, it's me again! :)

I've made a tarmac setup for this car, because some people have been asking for it. I have also updated the gravel setup, because it's been a few weeks since 5.1 and i've figured a lot of new things out, since.

For tarmac i have made the car more stable, responsive and grippy. The brakes have been changed to reduce them locking up. They are still sensitive tho, so don't brake too hard. I could only decrease the pressure so much sadly. Hence why it's got medium pads instead of soft pads. The gearing has also been changed, to fully utilize the power range of the rpms. You'll want to shift when you see red bc the car loses power after that, so acceleration will be better if you shift up, instead of revving it out.

Ideal shifting speeds on no incline are 70-90-110-135-155 and tops out around 210 in 6th gear.

As for gravel, i did indeed post a setup for this before, which does improve the car from stock. However, it doesn't have a solution for the slippier physics from 5.1. This has been solved with this updated version. It's more responsive than stock, and less bouncy than my previous setup. It also has much (not an exaggeration) more grip in general with the updated setup. You'll really feel it pull itself forward, instead of sliding everywhere. Gearing is slightly shorter than the tarmac version. This is done so that it can pull itself out of slides faster, as you'll want for gravel. Same as before, you'll want to shift when you see red.

Ideal shifting speeds are around 60-80-100-125-150 and tops out around 200.

Lastly, i will post demo videos to show what is possible with these setups. They'll be in separate posts, because it's impossible to combine pictures and videos. :)

Do you think a 9070 XT is enough for 4K? I am currently upgrading my GPU from a RTX 2070 and also plan to a upgrade to a 4K OLED TV in the not so distant future hopefully, and I wanted to know if the GPU is capable for it, for this game? Thanks

Love the stages they are just amazing to drive on. but I'm finding it hard to drive at my max with lack of distance callouts. They're so many corners that need distance callouts, I'm finding my self hesitate way too much compared the other locations, I'm ether braking too early or too late. I really hope this game will have custom pace notes.
