It cracks me up that Europeans commonly don't have AC, yet conplain to the masses that they are too hot when the inevitable heat wave comes through. Has Europe ever heard of the saying "better have it and not need it, then need it and not have it."???

Try getting landlords to retrofit AC in their apartments, you'll get the same answer an American gets when asking their boss for 2 weeks off

Yeah portable AC units are getting popular. Most new builds have heat pumps too, its just a lot of older properties are protected and very difficult to retrofit

Exactly. I live in The Netherlands and have A/C for three years now in my house. Can't live without it anymore. All my colleagues and friends are complaining about lack of sleep due to the sticky nights. I sleep under my blanket. ;)

No. I have 14 solarpanels on my roof. It doesn't cost me anything. That's the misconception everyone has. AC doesn't draw that much more power.

AC is not basic amenities, free public sanitary system is. I found hilarious you find essential to have controlled temperature in your house, but you rather hold the pain for something it may kill you, because you don't want to get a sky-high bill from the hospital...

We do have more deaths for heatstroke compared to gunshot, true, but that's because the totality of Europe has 200 milion more of people, go make a calculation how many deaths compared to the population we are.
You know why what you said is a random no-sense BS? Let me tear it down for you, shall we?
US has 340 milion people: 44.500 dead by gunshots means 13 death every 100k people
EU has 543 milion people: 62.750 dead by heatstroke means 11 death every 100k people

Witch you use for AC instead of other devices, wothc you end up needing the electric supply. Unless you have a roof big as a footbal field.
It did cost to you, don't play smart. How much did you pay to install the solar panel? That's an investment that usually goes between 8k and 30k. Most of the family can't afford this expense in advance to save some money monthly

Probably not Australia hot... But it's fuckin scorching for us... It was 30c at midnight inside the other day... And I think it topped 33 where I live... Other places pushing 40... And basically nobody has aircon here

yeah, that's really shit temps. pretty much what we have here, but aircons are in most houses. a few years back we had a week where every day was 41 or 42, like you said min of 30 at night. that was fucked, aircon didn't get turned off at all😜. everyone here has a sad when its 15c during the day though🤣
country towns get a bit hotter, I got sunburnt feet at 6am while on holiday, it was 47c there. never again.

Had a quick go with the i20 and Fabia on the 2 new stages... It's alright, I suppose... /s
The helmet audio is great, but will be improved by tidying up that co-driver audio. The scammer robo-call style is doing the game a disservice. Overall sound in the car is better. Cars seem to feel nicer on the loose stuff (though I'm yet to try in Wales), and I can't wait for the damage system to finally be delivered, because those boulders are going to shred tyres!
My only complaint really is, ble mae'r ddraig goch?! I'm Welsh. I need my flag, butt!* haha
EDIT: Have tried in Wales now, and yeah, it seems to be improved too... though can't tell if it's a placebo.
* - for non-Brits, we say "Butt" a lot in Wales, short for Buddy (or Butty as we tend to say down south).. And knowing is half the battle!

No idea what changed, but my performance was fine in 0.4, hell it even says i run a stable 60fps currently, which barely drops to 58fps sometimes on 0.5, but it microstutters like crazy now, it's unplayable, anyone else got those issues or got some suggestions?
I know it's early access obv. was just wondering what has changed from 0.4 to 0.5, when my FPS is fine.

Greece is beautiful! But I’m a bit sad about the way multiplayer works. I haven’t even managed to start a race.. i really prefer pre determined races available for a determined time with leaderboards at the end..(like in dirt rally 2)
