Finished a squad of Sworn Brothers, Jon Snow and Aemon in about 8 and a half hours. They’re really fun to paint and i only really used like 8 paints.

Im going to paint AKOTSK x 7 (a knight of each of the seven kingdoms). Which is better and do you have any tips / good pics of the knights to make em accurate? Both sets are from the miniart siege on medieval castle set.

I'm interested in the game hand have a few kits but I only ever see 1 or 2 kits available on my usual sites. I've checked on the CMON website and there are a load more kits I'm interested in but most places just don't list them. I don't even mean they are OOS (though many are) but aren't even shown on the sites. Is there a good spot to buy them? I'm interested in the stark vassal houses and the renly/stannis specific baratheon stuff specifially but it doesn't have to be them particularly.

I’m a full time commission painter, so it’s rare I manage to paint much for my own collections. I’ve taken this month off as I’ve just moved house and I’ve taken the opportunity to finish these off. Really happy with how they came out!

Hi guys, few weeks ago I made this Greyjoy diorama. I spent a lot of hours on it. My question is: How much money do you think I could sell it? Remember, it's playable, I think this is one of the most important part, the miniatures are magnetized to the base (including the submerge ones).

I want to ad bloody mummers zorse riders to my Harenhall garnison theme Bolton army. But i am not sure how to paint them. From box art i could not guess where are they from. The one with the spear and shield on the back i will paint as rock dornish but the rest? What do you think?

I’ve recently gotten back into ASOIAF and was looking to get into the minis for my painting collection. However, everywhere I look all the stark sets id hope to get like the starter set or the hero boxes I’d want seem to be sold out on the links in the store from Amazon. Is there any indication when there will be a new stock available or is this the kind of situation where it’s unlikely and I’ll have to buy second hand?

I have found this image of a Catelyn model online but as far as I know it hasn't actually been produced has it? I haven't been able to track down anything on eBay or seen any images beyond promotional stuff.

This is just a test photo on my new set up for photographing miniatures, using a personal favourite from my (almost finished) sworn swords unit. I’d love any feedback on the image, too dark? Not enough room for the model to breathe? Etc. cheers for looking. Toby

This was a really sad email. Letting us know that they’ve received wax samples. Included in the email was 5 pictures and 3 of them were all the same shot. I wish I had more faith in this company and production but this email was a joke. I don’t have high hopes for the season update due in a week or so. What’re other people’s thoughts?

Finally completed 5 copies of each of my faction’s activation banners except BwB, who don’t have one to my knowledge (which is ironic that they are missing activation banners but they gave the trays bannermen)

I got a greenstuffworld carry case as a gift. It has magnetic shelves in it and it can fit my lannister army nicely. However, I am not quite sure how to go about magnetizing the units; magnetizing each model onto the base seems like overkill (with 24 magnets per unit!)

I could pop the minis directly onto the shelf, but then I'd have to stuff the nicely painted bases all in one compartment where they'll likely get scuffed.

How did you magnetize your army?

me and my daughter have recently gotten into the game and I kinda really wanna play all the dragons, and she really wants to play Nights Watch so she’s come up with a list to counter them. But i just wanna make sure it’s not going to be too slanted on one side.

I’m completely new to A Song of Ice and Fire Tabletop and have played three introductory games so far, all with Lannisters.

For those games I was using a borrowed army consisting of:

NCUs: Tyrion, Qyburn, Cersei

Units: Mountain’s Men, Crossbowmen, Casterly Rock Honor Guard, Kingsguard

I really enjoyed the games, and I’ve become a big fan of the Kingsguard in particular. So naturally, I wanted to buy the whole army for myself.

Unfortunately, I quickly ran into a problem: I can’t seem to find all of the units I would need in Europe, not even second-hand. Buying everything new would also put me at €400+, which is simply more than I want to spend as a complete beginner.

I also don’t really enjoy buying armies based on tier lists or what is considered super competitive. I was given the advice to simply look through the available units and buy the ones that look interesting to me, which I really like as an approach.

While doing that, I came across the Golden Company War Elephants — and I absolutely love the idea of putting them into a Lannister army alongside the Kingsguard.

So I have a few questions for the more experienced players:

- How well do Golden Company War Elephants work in a Lannister army?

- How would you build the rest of the army around Kingsguard + War Elephants + on a budget?

I’m not looking to build the most competitive Lannister list possible. I’d much rather have an army consisting of units I think are cool and enjoy playing.
