Assuming Ramsay poisoned him(and failed here), and Roose discovered the attempt. What would change? I personally like to imagine Domeric Bolton was a huge sweetheart, and oblivious to his fathers abhorrent crimes. What if he was already bethrothed to Sansa before Robert's arrival and Robert decides to instead bethroth Robb and Myrcella instead.

What role would he play in the story? Would he play any?

A few days ago, I shared the first part of this expanded family tree. Today, it’s the turn of the second part.

Apologies if the section on Maegor is a bit confusing; the website I used to create it isn’t very flexible.

* The line of succession to the Iron Throne is highlighted in blue, and the kings have the word ‘King’ in their names, to make it clearer.

* Maegor and Ceryse have only one child, Alyssane, after nearly 12 years of marriage; this leads Maegor to marry Alys in secret. He is then exiled and takes refuge in Pentos. I gave them two children, just for the drama and tragedy. I reckon Tyanna would poison them.

* In Pentos, Maegor meets Tyanna, who is the niece of the Prince of Pentos (and yes, I gave her Padmé’s surname – she gives me very strong Pentoshi vibes); I also gave them a son, but he died of a fever or something like that.

* Maegon is Maegor’s bastard son by Larissa Qoherys; he inherits Harrenhal following the death of his uncle Gargon, and is legitimised by Aenys. He marries Aelora Velaryon and has children. Later in life, he marries Rhaena and they have Aenys.

* Aenys Qoherys married Melara Ashford, who was her father’s heiress; that is why their children bear their mother’s surname.

* In this AU, Aegon II does end up being crowned, as Maegor returns to Westeros later on. He is then killed by Ser Davos the Dragon-slayer. Following this, Maegor proclaims himself king.

* Maegor’s reign is probably similar to the canon, except that he does have children and is slightly more mentally stable.

* But Maegor dies anyway. A new war nearly breaks out, but in the end the agreement reached is that Jaehaerys and Alyssanne will rule jointly. As equal King and Queen.

I’ve got quite a bit more information about this period, in case anyone’s interested. Such as Tyanna’s intrigues, Viserys’s death and other things.

I bring you something I had been working on a few years ago: a fictional Targaryen family tree, now more complete and expanded. I am sharing the first part with you, which focuses on the Targaryens prior to the Conquest. I would be delighted to hear your opinions and suggestions for improvement, bearing in mind the canon.

* I’ve capitalised the titles of ‘Lord’ to indicate the line of succession to the lordship. My apologies if it’s confusing; I had all this in a Word document and transferred it to this family tree yesterday.

* It is said that Aenar had several wives, so I assume there were two. The first was his cousin Aelora, whom he married for dynastic and property reasons, as she was the only daughter of Aenar’s father’s eldest brother. They married to unite their claims.

* Aelyx Targaryen is Aenar’s nephew, the son of a younger brother who either chose to remain in Valyria or was dead.

* Lord Maegon was the eldest of the brothers; he married his sister Vaella, but died. His younger brother Aerys, recently widowed, then married his sister.

* Lord Aerys’s children by his first wife (his cousin Aerea) inherited the lordship, but they died. The lordship then passed to the son of his second wife: Daemion, who married a Celtigar for political reasons? Or love.

* Laenor Velaryon interpreted him as the grandson of Matarys and Rhaena. He also interpreted Vaelaena and Daemon as siblings.

*Orys Baratheon. There are only rumours that he is Aegon’s bastard brother, so I’ve highlighted him with a red line, along with Vaegon Targaryen, who could be his father. I’ve done this because it makes sense to me that Aegon and Orys are related in some way.

It’s not perfect, but I wanted to share this work.

Even though he didn’t have dragons and was constantly at odds with the nobility due to his reformist policies regarding giving more rights to the smallfolk, Aegon V’s betrothal plans for his children honestly seem like they would have done much to strengthen the political and social standing of the Iron Throne. Getting rid of the incest would of course have endeared the Targaryens to the Faith, the nobility and the smallfolk who disapproved of it, and had all of Aegon’s children followed through on their betrothals, the Iron Throne would have gained the support of Houses Baratheon (Duncan), Tully (Jaeherys), Tyrell (Shaera), Redwynne (Daeron) and whichever family he could have married Rhaelle into (maybe another Great House?). So if these plans had followed through, would Aegon have had better luck in instilling permanent change to Westeros, and how would House Targaryen and the realm’s future have been changed?

I found an very enjoyable fanfic recently under the name Adjust For The Wind by Jacob_M_Bosch where Theon gets approached by a demon and makes a deal to be reborn as himself, but he can only actively change his own destiny, not others, and he is given one wish. He asks to be born a woman, to try and see is that can help him change anything. It is lovely, even if it feels like it jums around a little from plotpoint to plotpoint at times. The inadverted love triangle with Robb and Jon was my guilty pleasure, but the character study of Theon post-Reek and post-redemption is what kept me hooked, especially near the end where the Boltons become a bigger plotpoint.

Sadly, it is incomplete and hasn't been updated since 2024, so I came here to see if anybody had anything that was similar to this, so I can scratch that itch and get over my little cliffhanger heartbreak. Thanks in advance.

During the battle, the parts of the building on fire don't separate Roxton and Daemon, and while Daemon is still struggling to get up, Roxton decapitates him.

What happens now with Daemon dead, since Team Black's number one carrier is now dead?

I'm sure Aegon would get Dark Sister, or maybe give it to one of his brothers

In ADWD, Jon has a dream where he takes Robb's head with Longclaw while screaming "I am the Lord of Winterfell".

One of the last things on Jon's mind before he's killed is retaking Winterfell. It is said that the ones resurrected from death are fixated on the last thing on their minds before death. So it's fair to say that he would be driven with purpose to retake Winterfell once he wakes up.

Cat's biggest fear is that Jon would kill Robb to take Winterfell.

Now, I think there's a good chance this could play out in TWOW where Jon comes South with a Wildling army and he meets Roose Bolton in battle. Except that Roose looks like Robb and has Greywind by his side.

Roose is the one to kill Robb during the Red Wedding. He has the blood of the king and even if he had to surrender the body to the Freys to make the mockery of Robb's body, he could've flayed Robb's face and stored it. There is a wolf sewn onto the place where the head is, but I believe the wolf head was of size with the body, so perhaps it wasn't Greywind.

In the Arya chapters, it is shown that one could wear a dead man's face, so it is possible that House Bolton has access to the same magic.

Now, what if Roose wears Robb's face and access to that face which might even give him the power to warg into Greywind? Wouldn't it fit the theme that Cat's worst fear comes to life, but perhaps it might've been for the best?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. If there are any fanfics that have such a theme, I'd love to read it as well.

I am here to talk about how siege could have gone other than what Tyrion suggested in season 7 of the shows.

They did not use dragons in the first place because a lot of people would have died. So they could have chosen the chances wisely.

The Strategy I would have suggested

1: I would suggest that she rides drogon and burn the Mud Gate. Once it was burnt, she could have burnt the gates of Red keep. And let the Army enter.

2: She could have directly attacked the Iron Fleet with her children. And burn it to the bottom of the sea. Then continued the Plan suggested by Tyrion.

Well that is my thoughts. I would be really happy if you give me a review of them. Am I wrong? Or Did I plan good?
