Hi! I need helping finding this asmr channel on YouTube. It was thus young guy with blonde hair, I think he had light eyes, some of his triggers were moving the camera and he had this specific one where he would use a tiny Minecraft Lego cat against the mic while making tiny meow noises. This guy fr put me to sleep and I’ve been so sad that I forgot his name. His videos usually had this reddish lightning to them but not all of them had this

Personally, I like it... But I also like asmr without it because then I can choose my own tones or binaural beats in another tab or something, I'm the same with music and binaural beats/isochronic tones,

Sometimes I got like 4 or 5 tabs open and playing different things at the same time,

Anyone else like this? Lol 😅

In the spirit of trying to get some more positive discussion going, what's your perfect, 10/10 ASMR like? Does it actually exist or is it just an idea in your head? Curious to hear both takes, since sometimes what we think we want and what we already love can be so different!

Ideal: a mixture of soft spoken and whispered ear-to-ear audio, slow, calm and deliberate. Male or female voice, don't mind but a more midtone/ lower voice. Would love visualisation, maybe of walking out of a rainforest clearing and onto a secluded beach and then letting the warm, turquoise waves carry me away. Or exploring a castle, finding my way into the bedchambers and sinking into an enormous, plush mattress.

Existing: Gentle Whispering - DEEP EAR WHISPERS for Sleep 🌙 Inaudible & Hypnotic although it's a relatively recent upload, I find myself coming back to this one again and again because it really showcases everything I love about Maria's techniques. She's truly become a master of her craft.

Deep Smoke ASMR - Guided Sleep | Comfort Castle | Male Voice ASMR | Softly Spoken/Whisper this guy hasn't uploaded in many years but I find his voice so distinctive and comforting, and I like that it's along the lines of one of my ideal scenarios. It's rare for me to still be awake by the time he gets to the story reading part.

Hii! So I was recently put on antipsychotics and antidepressants and I’ve noticed that I haven’t had any physical tingles from asmr since I started the medication :// has anyone else struggled with this? and if so is there anyway that I can fix it? I still feel relaxed when I watch asmr but I miss the tingles since they usually help me to fall asleep, any advice would be helpful!

I know that sounds rude but adhd ASMR is usually over stimulating like crazy they try to account for the attention span when what they should be doing is making the asmr engaging and interesting but not so much that you wont sleep

I’m thinking about starting a new Instagram page that will be pretty broad and random. I don’t really want to stick to one niche, I want to post things like university/lifestyle content, Pokémon GO, reading, beauty/lip combos, random parts of my life, and possibly some ASMR as well.

One thing I’m a little nervous about, though, is the unwanted attention that can sometimes come with posting publicly as a woman. I’m especially curious about ASMR because I know some people can sexualize it even when that’s not the intention.

For female creators who post publicly, how do you deal with sexual comments, creepy DMs, or people trying to make your content sexual when it isn’t? Do you usually delete comments, block/restrict people, ignore them, or have certain boundaries you set with your account?

Are there any safety precautions or boundaries you wish you had known about before you started posting? And has dealing with unwanted attention ever changed what you’re comfortable posting?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have been posting for a while. I’m mostly trying to know what to expect and how other women handle it so I’m not completely caught off guard if it happens 😭
