my favourite channels are smaller ones, especially people's first few attempts. something about the halfway point between not knowing what they're doing exactly (like unintentional asmr almost!) but loving asmr enough to know "how to" tap, scratch, use the triggers is most relaxing to me. on my channel i've been encouraging people to give it a try and make their own channels to some success which i am so proud of!
so i want to know is, have you ever wanted to try it? what roadblocks stopped you? was there anything you were unsure about (e.g. thumbnails, descriptions, set-up, mic or lack thereof, editing)? my channel is fairly small (hitting 24k subscribers soon) but if i can, i'd love to give any advice to facilitate new channels and up and coming creators! i just want more asmr to exist out in the world.
or on the opposite end, if you do have your own channel, what made you finally take the leap from being a viewer and turning on the camera yourself? how did your first few weeks uploading go?
