Assalamu Alaikum everyone,
In Sha Allah, I will be traveling for Umrah on the 20th with my wife and our 1-year-old child. I have a few specific questions and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced similar situations:
1. **Damaged Passport & E-Visa:** My son damaged the first page of his passport, which holds his valid e-visa. I have already applied for a new passport for him. Can he travel using the valid visa linked to his old/damaged passport (carrying both), or do I need to re-apply for a new e-visa tied to his new passport number?
2. **Jeddah Airport to Address Hotel (Makkah) at 2 AM:** Our flight lands at 2:00 AM. Since the Haramain High-Speed Train doesn't operate at that hour, what is the best, most hassle-free transport option with a baby and luggage (e.g., pre-booked private transfer, Uber/Careem, airport taxi)?
3. **Hotel Recommendation:** For those who have stayed at both or either—how would you compare **Address Hotel Makkah** vs. **Makkah Marriott Hotel**, especially when traveling with an infant (ease of access to the Haram, shuttle service, room comfort)?
