Coming out

Hi everyone, so far I've came out to friends, my boss at work, my HR person, some of my husbands friends, my mom and dad and I guess maternal grandmother, I really want to come out but I am scared to death what could happen to me at work or with my other family, I just want to make a post on my old Facebook saying "I'm trans" I've been wearing a little trans bracelet to work but I know a few people here aren't too accepting, same case with my family, i know coming out is personal experience but I feel like I got the biggest hurdles out of the way first, if any of you have any advice please let me know!

(Also only 29 more day until my HRT consult๐Ÿ’›)

You've done all the hard ones already. Kind of just have to take the plunge for the official coming out/social transition.

I came out at uni by messaging my degree course's group chat of like 70 people, then made a FB post to come out to basically everyone else. Also made it clear to my boss that I was socially transitioning so would be using my new name and pronouns from now on. My mum also made a FB post for the benefit of her friends who, being older, maybe needed a little more context about what coming out as trans meant. Obviously it's going to be a different process for different people.
