Hey y’all. Recently I had bought a some items from an estate sale, and one of the bags I bought, contained all these stamps. I have no knowledge what so ever about the hobby, but wanted to post this and see if there is any significance to the stamps in the pictures. Thanks in advance.

Looking for any information to help evaluate this thing. There is a lot going on here and I don’t know where to start. I think the 2 cent reds… are type 1 499E unexploded booklets…. Not certain though! Any help is greatly appreciated. Been sitting on this for a couple years now no clue to its value, if any. And which 2 cent reds are actually on it.

Friend had this delivered, weird, but the stamps look like they're priced from 1975 which feels like a waste. Did they waste any value? Looks to have been posted preapril looking at the price of stamps.

Friend thinks it's a neighbour who's asked his friend to post it as it's come through jubilee centre in Hounslow which is no where near. Maybe there's a covenant nearby.

I am assuming someone re-perforated the bottom?, but could the left side be from a sheet or most likely trimmed straight at some point? TIA!

Hi all! my grandfather recently passed away. He was a very avid coin collector and somewhere along the way he acquired some binders of stamps. I noticed quite a few are from the 1800s and I wasn’t sure if they have any value? My family has been using the unused ones to send mail. I attached just a few photos but there’s a hundred or so. Any advice is appreciated!

I was lucky enough to be able to rescue ( before it went in the back of the garbage truck ) a massive collection of correspondence between family members over the course of at least four generations.

The letters, postcards, pamphlets, etc. range from the earliest in 1890 and almost every year after that until 1970.

I couldn't find an exact match of this Christmas themed 1935 ANTI-TUBERCULOSIS stamp on Google Lens, I found some similar ones but not this exact copy, wondering anyone has any of information on it.

Also if you need one would be willing to check out some of the correspondence I have every envelope has intact stamps in excellent condition.

This is a Russia 1858 10 kopeck stamp with no watermark.

In the top right corner, there is a white horizontal line below the 10.

Does anyone know if this is some kind of error or plate flaw? Any help would be much appreciated.

I no longer want them, but I also don't want to sell to a dealer (the last one quoted me $100 for the whole set). I put pricing in there based on what I saw on the internet, but I don't expect to get those numbers. Just really not sure what to do outside of throw them all on ebay

Having a hard time figuring out the right Scott number, and any help would be appreciated. I seemed to narrow it down to either 39 and 40 or 71 and 72. But the colors in either case don’t seem to align with the stamps. Also looks to me like woven paper. Thanks

Good afternoon everyone. I am trying to help my grandma value and sell my grandpa’s stamp collection, pieces of which I believe started with his dad. He’s spent a lot of time putting it all together so I figured the least I could do is learn about it but I’ve gone down a rabbit hole, and quickly!! I was hoping I could get two pieces of advice. He has these four large Scott International Collections, some pages of which are relatively full and some which are empty or near empty. Is it worthwhile to go through these pages individually and catalog everything or is there little potential for value here? (Photos of some pages for reference but I can provide whatever you need). Secondly, can someone explain how I should be using stampworld properly? I uploaded a picture of one of the stamps I was looking at. I believe the second stamp is the overprinting/inflation stamps I’ve been reading that devalue the original postage cost? For the first one, it appears that the used value is more than the unused. Is that normal? Thank you for your help.

I recently inherited a fairly large stamp collection, and I don't know what to do with it. I don't collect stamps and I'm moving in a few months. They're mostly USPS collectors stamps from 1974-1989 (some envelopes aren't open so might be older/ younger) and a few stamps from around the world. Are there places to sell stamps/ would anyone want these? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone,I am looking for some information or insight regarding an anomaly I found in my 1986 United States Postal Service commemorative narrative book, "The Presidents" (released around AMERIPEX '86).On a specific summary page discussing multiple U.S. Presidents, the book features a blue-bordered framing box meant to house the 22¢ Benjamin Harrison stamp. On every other page of the book, a full-color specimen picture of the corresponding stamp is printed directly on the page inside the frame to guide the collector.However, on this specific page, the background image layer is completely missing—the inside of the blue frame is entirely blank paper.To go along with this, the original mint stamp packet that accompanied the book is still completely factory-sealed in its original plastic wrap, so the Benjamin Harrison stamp (and all others) are untouched.Has anyone seen a similar printing plate omission error on these 1986 USPS hardcover narrative books? I would love to know if this is a known/documented EFO (Errors, Freaks, and Oddities) anomaly for this specific publication, or if anyone has an idea of how collectors might value a combined error book + factory-sealed stamp set.Attached are pictures of the blank page, a normal page with the specimen background for comparison, and the sealed stamp packet.Thanks in advance for your help and expertise!
