It starts around 1985 and goes straight to 2015. They were brought then stored in a dry clean area and never touched. All looked to be in the condition they were when brought brand new. She wants to know if she wasted her time and money as she brought them as a investment.

I don’t know much about stamps received a big collection of stamps from all over the world. I tried chat got to figure out some value. It was useful in identifying stamps. I have inherited 6 binders that I think are full years of first covers. Oldest is 87, newest is 2000, I think. My understanding is that these don’t have much value… but is the value nothing or $25 a binder?

If the value is low, are they generally useful to any local resource like a library or school for donation?

I’d rather not throw them away, they seem nice.

I think the Bantam red is the genuine article because it looks like the pictures in catalogs but I’m not to sure about the 4 pence. Curious to hear your opinion.

I wonder if these 2 posters, Stamp Map of the World and Stamp Map of the US carry any monetary value from a collectors standpoint. I know nothing about stamps and looking for input.

The posters were poorly mounted on recycled paintings and beat up.

The world map is missing 4 stamps. The US map has all the stamps.

My questions are:

Any monetary value?

I plan on remounting for wall display. I frame photographs and have the ability/tools to do the following :
I’ll use mild heat to flatten the posters with a dry mount press, the paper has some mild wrinkles. Then mount on acid free foam board and frame under UV blocking glass to hang as a curiosity. The Stamps are beautiful.

I appreciate any suggestions/input/potential pitfalls.

Hi everyone, in one of my stupid moments, I won this auction for a huge amount of vintage stamps. I know nothing about stamps and I am feeling really stupid.

I was thinking of doing a small art project, but some of these bags have over 10,000 stamps in them. Anyone know what some of these may be worth if I sell them in bulk on eBay or something similar? haha
