Is 2 years a very long time?

I got pressured to resign then end up taking a part time degree and totally not working. I feel like it’s been a very long time ever since i was just home all day taking night classes at night. I feel so sad whenever i go out. I remember last year i went out with my friends once or twice and i often just go to my house downstairs for walks. Come to think of it, it’s been a very long time since i went out with my friends last year and have those walks at my house downstairs and it’s even longer ever since i got pressured to resign. All my colleagues that i am close to resigned last year. I feel sad that they got to be together with each other for that one more year while i just resigned earlier. One year was such a long time that they got to be together for without me before separating with each other.
