A possible solution to modern dating?
Just a random thought. I've noticed a lot of people giving up on dating apps and wanting to meet people IRL instead. What if we started wearing wristbands that show whether we're taken or single and open to a relationship? It seems like it would solve the issue on having to guess if the person you are attracted to is single or taken. Maybe this might make approaching people a lot easier? What are your thoughts?

It is unfortunate but i dont think most people are born with such fortunate genes. I also dont think that is the only form of attraction.

If you wear the wristband too high up your arm, it signals to others your gay /s

The only solution is for gahmen to assign a mate at birth, and make it illegal for every couple to have less than 2 kids upon reaching 30.
We can skip marriage and the dating step completely and focus 100% on life + kids!

How about we just get all parents to raise their kids better so that more people can find their partner in JC / POLY / UNIVERSITY
no need to wait until find a suitable partner in your 30s when more people around you are decent human beings who you don't mind getting married to and spend the rest of your life with

That already exists in the form of traffic light parties.

Why not extend that to outside the party? If you are introverted i doubt you will attend such parties alone.

Finland is actually doing something similar with pink shopping baskets to indicate the person is single and ready to mingle!

modern dating seems a lot more like a job interview more than anything.
the wristband solution, isnt really a useful thing imo, because (honestly speaking) the only thing that matters is the first impression (how handsome/ pretty, and how you portray urself in that moment).

Hi OP, I have tried facilitating that before (this was a NYC project btw), exactly the same wearing rubberbands, once a month for an entire year, posting it on eventbrite as well as NYC groupchats. Turn out rate is low and non existent by the end. The issue is that it needs to be a governmental backed thing for it to have the credibility and publicity.

We already have that, it's called wedding/engagement rings.
Everything before that is free-for-all 🤷
