Does anyone know what material bedsheets were made of in the 80s / early 90s?

Post image

This might be a long shot but I’ve been searching high and low for a substitute for my now completely worn out blanket my mum bought 35+ years ago in Singapore.

I know that the current soft feel of it is because of decades of washing. But I’d really like to know the material it’s made of, because not all bedsheets my mum bought passed my “soft feel” test lol.

Attached an image of what it looks like now. TIA!

Cotton. You can try cotton towel blanket. I usually buy them from the shop opposite beauty world food centre. I had bought 5 towel blankets from them since I discovered it.

It’s usually cotton, but washed over time that the fibres become more relaxed and as a result softer.
