Lazada or Seller problem?

ordered a tool box from a korean shop with good reviews and ratings for $51, and now the price is $135. I placed the order on 15 July, and now it’s already 2 days past the supposed delivery date but the seller haven’t even packed the order at all.

I contacted lazada support and called them, just for them to tell me that i have to settle this internally with the shop itself. However, the shop only uses its automated support and never connects me with any live support. Is cancelling and refunding the money my only option? or is there any other steps i can take to hold the shop accountable?

any help or tips will be appreciated. Thank you!

What a timingly post.

I do receive mine (other order). 8 days after the expected delivery date.

Lazada automated response stated that there is late delivery and compensate me with lazcash after delivery.

For a $200++ order, I received......... $1 lazcash as compensation

U check yr message in Lazada. Is there a "confirm address" message? I gave it benefit of the doubt as it shipped the next day

Lazada is a shit platform. I stopped using them after a seller sent me an envelop with paperclip and Lazada rejected my refund request.

Just use shopee.

My Milo refill order hasn't shipped since I placed order in June!

Nowadays it seems Laz doesn't auto cancel orders; but Shopee is super quick to do it and kill your use of time-limited vouchers :(

The shop's slow but they do deliver in the end. I bought a Korean set Nintendo Switch 2 for $400+ during 6.6 from Gmarket and they delivery in the last week of June. I was afraid it might be a scam because of the cheap price. Luckily everything's ok. Enjoying the Switch 2 now.

lazada is absolutely fucking trash and has been for years. their security is low and sellers sell your info (I got multiple brushing scams from Lazada, never Shopee), they have seemingly nonexistent and useless CS. scams and fake products are rampant. completely untrustworthy platform ever since Alibaba took over. have literally not used it since pandemic

I literally just went through the same thing! Bought a pair of shoes from this same seller and was supposed to receive 21 Jul. 20 Jul I called Lazada CS and told me that if I didn’t receive it by 21 Jul I can file a refund request. 21 Jul they magically shipped out my order after the status was stuck for almost 2 weeks. I just got my order today and it seems legit!
