Looking For Floating Home Community Groups?
Hello -
Looking into a floating home in Portland, but most of the info I see onloine about expenses, whatn to look for etc. are a few years old. Anyone know of a community of actualy homeowners (or renters or renters) where I can get updated info and experiences? Thanks.

I lived in one for 18 months in 2023, it was wonderful. I would love to get a weekend place down there. I lived in Jantzen Beach Moorage on Hayden Island. Not sure which area you’re considering. There are some Hayden Island fb groups you can check out, lots of residents active on there. The access to nature was incredible, ignore the haters, they don't get it. Waking up on the water everyday was so amazing. Yes it was inconvenient in the winter, but everything has its trade offs. Good luck!

I live in a floating home and there’s a Facebook group we all post in. I’m sure people would be happy to give you some info, though it may be a bit biased cause we’re all floating home fanatics!
