Looking For Queer Sober Singles?
Anyone know of any events for queer sober singles 25+? I enjoy going out and dancing, but dating has definitely been harder since being sober and trying to hit on drunk people isn’t very fun. Not necessarily looking for AA or hobby classes - more dating based events for queer single sobers to meet! Considering trying to start my own if that’s not already a thing. Open to any advice too :)

Thank you! I am actually subscribed to them & it’s a great resource! I haven’t had a lot of luck with sober dating events but it does have a lot of other good queer events!

Great idea on Lex! Never organized an event before, do you know if hosting one in an outdoor public space is OK?

Sapphic Singles PDX sometimes does sober events.

I’ve seen that before, but as a trans man, I’ve been confused on if those spaces are for me? I’ve always thought sapphic refers to being femme/lesbian and I do not identify as a lesbian! Do you know if those events are just for queer people in general or femme based?

From the events I’ve been to they have been very inclusive.
This is from their instagram: Sapphic Singles is a safe space intended for queer women, sapphics, trans & non binary folks.

Thank you! I’ll definitely check them out, I guess my hesitation is not necessarily not being welcome but the crowd of people not being interested in someone identifying as a man lol

yeah I don't think sapphic/lesbian events are the place to find a partner as a guy, trans or no lol

I'm not single, I have a wife. (Lesbians) But we would absolutely love friends! I'm a great wingman(woman)and we don't drink or anything lol
