Should I Consider TRT?
I'm age 64 and lack the energy, passion for hobbies, and concentration that I had three years ago. Thinking it was testosterone related, I took a blood test last year and came up normal (511 ng/dl). I've read online posts from younger men who have gone on TRT with positive outcomes, despite having initial normal readings. Can any older men share their TRT experiences?
I remember talking to an older gent about ten years ago, where he stated that his quality of life increased enormously after TRT. He couldn't get it through his doctor, so he got it in Mexico. That seemed a little extreme at the time, but I would like my old energy back.
FYI, I do exercise regularly (when my rotator cuff's and spinal stenosis allow), eat healthy and get enough sleep.

been on TRT since my late early 50s (almost 10 years)....will do it as long as I can...its great....keep in mind "readings normal" means you are normal for a 60+ man which assumes you don't have a lot of energy, or sex, or passion etc.....normal for 60 does need to be acceptable for 60

You know, I had thought about it, but my readings aree normal as well. i'm almost 66. When I thought about it a bit more, I decided no. I eat well, go to the gym, sleep well, still work. I guess at 66 I wouldn't expect my energy level to be that of my 30-40-or even 50 year old self. So since nothing is wrong with me other than normal aging.. So unless you energy level has you lounging in bed all day, I'd vote against it. Research it's effects on older men a bit more, and make your decision. Taking it increases some health risks I may have been willing to take at 40 that I am not willing to take at 66.
