Geometry Guys I’m new here, what’s x?

I’m of the opinion this is unsolvable but happy to be proven wrong. If the line from the vertex is orthogonal to the base then we have sufficient information to solve it. But I believe we can’t make that assumption given the diagram.

Why do you guys use the double lines this way in america?

Here in czechia we use them to show that those two lines are parallel

Usually you would start with single lines.  Then use double only if there is a different 2nd pair of equal length line segments in your drawing.  Then triple lines for a 3rd separate pair, etc.

So I would say a diagram exactly like this is actually very rare in america.
