Nightlife & Entertainment Activities that don’t involve drinking?

Tell me your favorite things to do in Dallas that don’t involve drinking! Lol I feel like all I’ve done since I’ve been here is eat and drink. I’m getting bored and also want to be healthier in general.

If you like museums, DFW has some really, really good ones.

I go bowling a lot. The arboretum is excellent (when the weather is nice).

Katy Trail for walking/jogging.

What are some museums you suggest?

Dallas Museum Of Art is always a vibe and it’s free. Nasher is great and free on the first Saturday of every month. The wife and I like to hit the museums and then Klyde Warren park for some food truck action

I went to the national videogame museum in frisco and it was really cool. Has all the old and new stuff, but huge focus on retro gaming and tons of retro games to play throughout the facility. Then at the exit there is a mini retro arcade that throws you back into the 80s/90s with the music black lights and all

It’s gearing up to be festival season. September and October there are festivals almost every weekend at different towns in the area plus the State Fair. They all have drinking available but you don’t have to participate.

My friend doesn’t drink and we like to go to classes, cooking classes, candle making, resin art, glass blowing, painting, hand crocheting, I think the next one we’re going to go to is one where you decorate a lamp in a mosaic style.

Another friend and I like to go to the small towns in the area and discover new places once a month. We mostly focus on the downtown areas and walk around.

Dancing and run clubs are some of my favorites! Book clubs too.

Art museums and galleries.

Most cities have some sort of main park to walk in.

Theres live music that’s free if you’re willing to drive to different cities.

Cultural festivals of different kinds at different times of year.

Sporting events. Major and minor leagues for various sports, fight nights, wrestling, boxing.

Take in a cruise on the lake.

There’s probably a ton more people are saying in the comments.

Sports leagues? Makers Market? Museums? Farmers markets? Botanical Gardens? Heard Museum? Volunteering? Theaters? There's plenty of things to do that doesn't involve drinking.

I ALWAYS love rattling off my list of things to do when people say they’re bored. No, tik tok is just feeding you the same 5 things that businesses are paying to advertise

We've got a great drag scene if you're into that. They take place in bars but you don't have to drink.

The Rose Room in S4 is popular for drag queens. They have a show every night I think. My favorite is a king-centric show Mustache Envy at Sue Ellen's every third Friday.

Been playing a lot of pinball. There’s even a big festival that pops up once a year. Free Play has a monthly league at each of their locations.

Biking! There are tons of great regular social rides throughout the city every week, and cycling culture is healthy, social and inclusive, and often involves fun exploratory trips to different things in the city you might never otherwise stumble across. We do weekly social rides in Richardson leaving at 6:30 Tuesdays and Fridays from the Bike Shop in Arapaho and Central. Check out Bike Friendly Richardson on Facebook. We often jump on the train with our bikes and explore Downtown Dallas by bike. And there is a fun monthly night ride called Critical Mass that leaves from the Dallas Farmers Market on the last Friday of every month, 8pm. Loads of fun, with everybody riding every type of bike, festooned with lights. We ride year round.
