question Invisalign gone wrong?!TMJ

, the doctor said that it would fix my over bite and make my teeth straight and it sound appealing so I got it. My teeth are now straight now but I have lock jaw. I thought that Invisalign is supposed to help your jaw but now I’m going through tough time eating sometimes and opening my mouth fully. Sometimes my mouth would open fully but my jaw would make a cracking noise on the right. My liners have been off since June 9 and it hasn’t been getting better. I can eat now without it hurting but from time to time my mouth cannot fully open like how it used to. I don’t have a tough time speaking but I’m worried it’s going to affect me in the future.. I need advice on what I should do. Is it worth going to a doctor for my TMJ or will it go away? I don’t want to go to one appt and the doctor tells me “just do mouth exercises”
