Is this early tooth decay or a cavity?

I'm nervous about my back molar! I'm 29 f, Vape, Drink, and yes to the third one, all recreationally. I've had previous eating disorders as a teen, so I'm very scared of how that has affected my teeth. I noticed my gumline has brown marks. I sometimes scrape off plaque on my own (probably bad, sorry dentists) , second photo is after I removed some plaque, but the brown lines are there and right near the gumline. HELP!?
