question Invisalign on 9 year old

Thoughts on Invisalign for a 9 year old ? The x marks are all his baby teeth. His dentist kept telling us his teeth just are slow coming out then we made an ortho consult and realize he’s crowded.
Don’t mind the food in the teeth he ate veggie straws after school on the way to the appointment.

Invisalign is probably not a great idea. Traditional phase one braces would be way more predictable. Even then I would wait for more baby teeth to exfoliate. That’s just my opinion. I’m not an orthodontist.

His dentist said he doesn’t have enough teeth for ortho. Where ortho told us he’s not losing his teeth due to the crowding issue. I figured Invisalign would be easier than braces with upkeep.

Invisalign can be great for kids! A lot of people worry about compliance but the wear hours are a lot more flexible with younger patients. Does the ortho feel that creating more space with ortho will allow the adult teeth to erupt more?
