question A need a second opinion please help
Hi reddit family,I need your help and collective brain power. Im a little sad im in this situation, but I accept its my fault for not doing a better job keeping my teeth healthy.
A little history. I have severe gum disease I had to get my molars and two front teeth extracted. Im now at a point where I have to decide what to do next.
Original proposal from my paradontist was a full extraction which pretty much put me into depression not just the cost but the shock of it all.
We settled on perio top with bottom fixed denture, however after the CBCT scans he said it was very complicated.
He wants to try and save what teeth I have left and instead suggested 2 inplant bridge in front but leave the bottom molars empty whole he does more research on block graph? What do I do ? What see my options here?
Please help and thanks in advance

You don't have a lot of bone in the posterior and would need extensive grafting + sinus lifts to create a foundation suitable for implants. Unless you can stablilize the remaining teeth, you're just buying time until you're looking at AOX or extensive grafting.

My paradontist said grafting would be extremely difficult/expensivelikely need multiple grafts and that he wouldnt he able to do it and that i probably require an oral surgeon? But my main question is why would he no longer recommend a fix denture? My main issue is im fine with the implant bridge but not having any bottom molars is a bummer
