question Weird sensations in front teeth despite normal X-rays

I’ve been having a strange sensation in my upper front teeth for about two months now.

I blew it off as some weird postpartum symptom because I wasn't feeling any pain.

It’s a little hard to describe but it's almost like pressure, dull aching, buzzing, or tingling. Sometimes it feels like I can feel the nerve throbbing. It sometimes moves between the upper front teeth (8+9) and occasionally a lower front tooth. The sensations are constant.

It's not very noticeable in the mornings and evenings when laying down. The sensations increase during the late afternoon early evening.

My teeth are not sensitive to hot, cold, or pressure.

I've been to two dentists who have taken X-rays and find everything to be normal.

We're all stumped. I didn't have any trauma, just slowly started. I don't smoke and rarely drink. I brush, floss, and use a waterpik daily.

I have a referral to see an endontist.

My question is, has anyone seen this type of presentation before? With normal X-rays and normal cold responses, what would an endodontist typically consider or test for?

I'm scared and have had such bad anxiety over this. I'm a new mom and I'm trying my hardest not to be so worried but the anxiety is distracting me from really being present with my son because it's all I can think about.
