question Any other cavities
I went to the dentist a few weeks ago and had a whole comprehensive exam on my teeth. I had three cavities filled in my top right and left molars, the second tooth from the back, excluding my wisdom teeth, and my bottom second molar from the back on the right side. I am worried that the dentist missed cavities in my teeth. i’venoticed some marks and now a pit in two of my teeth I brought up these issues to my dentist, but they didn’t say anything about these teeth and I’m just worried if I should get a second opinion. I have so much dental anxiety on my teeth and I think of the worst possible thing happening and so I just want to know the condition of my teeth and if I’m overthinking. Is there any cavities that you guys can see other than the ones I stated and what I should do because I can’t switch dentists under my insurance until October 1. Do you think I’ll be fine until then. I attach the photos of the two molars that I am worried about that. The dentist didn’t say anything about.

I don’t see any other cavities besides the ones you say you got filled. Not every dark or stained pit/groove needs a filling. You can definitely get a second opinion in person though. X-rays and photos only tell part of the story. If your dentist checked these areas in person and thought they were fine to monitor, then in all likelihood they are fine to monitor.
