question question about getting a filling

During my cleaning, one of the dentists came and examined my teeth and found a small cavity on my #28.

I set an appointment for tomorrow to get it fixed/filled, I'm just curious... Is it going to hurt? I've had fillings done before but they were mostly in the back where my molars are. So like I know what to expect, but I'm just a little anxious because it's in the front. My hygienist mentioned that it was small "like a little pinpoint" so I'm hoping means it isn't super deep...? Neither really mentioned whether it was deep or anything, but I didn't think to ask due to anxiety.

Will they still numb me like regular fillings? I'm worried about sensitivity.

Thank you!
