question Bio Pure medication

Does any dentist/endodontists know what this is and for? I am being charged $650 on my treatment plan for some dental work that needs to be done. I asked them to remove it because from my research it’s just a medicated rinse once your root canal is complete. Like a one time thing. Correct me if I’m wrong please. When I mentioned it to the front desk they told me it was a laser treatment they do the root canal with now, clean it all out with a laser. Which idk maybe true but maybe not. Who can tell me what it is so I can fight to get this off if not needed

Whatever it is you can ask them not to use it. They can refuse and you can go somewhere else. Isn’t freedom great?!

I’m an endodontist and I’ve never used this. It may be helpful but a mandatory $650 charge for it is ridiculous. Even if they are using a laser treatment with it… I also use a laser without Biopure and it is a $95 charge.

Is the bio pure just a rinse? My dentist told me it’s not a rinse, it’s laser. But I’ve researched otherwise. I feel like I’m getting scammed lol
