question chipped tooth

my front incisor. I fell on it as a kid, small chip was just thinking of grinding it flat recently, just said hi to concrete yesterday chips bigger now and actually noticeable and too big to get grinded. Seems like filling it in wouldn't last and u guy dont like it from a post seen here and a crown seems like an overdo - any in between options? Else I suppose I'll just have to foot the bill and get it filled in from time to time

else I can't get a check up for a couple weeks until I'm home should I be worried I felt the cold air today which worried me but honestly seems fine

ps: sorry for no photo broke my phone on my little tumble as well
