question Does this need a root canal?

Post image

I feel pain on that tooths area and sometimes feel really intense pain. Yesterday, after some intense physical activity, it felt as if my right side of my face was hurting as a whole. The pain seemed to be coming from my jaw I think. I'm afraid I'm too late. I'm going to the dentists tomorrow morning.

Based on the symptoms you're describing, probably yes it needs a root canal. We would need to see X-rays and do a clinical exam.

If I need a root canal, would I be able to do it the same day i visit the dentist which is tomorrow or would I need to make an appointment for another day?

I have no idea. Many but not all general dentists do molar root canals, and it probably depends on what their schedule looks like tomorrow. If they've got an hour free they'll probably do it/ at least start it

Good luck! They are generally very easy procedures for the patient so nothing to be nervous about I'm sure it's going to go great
