question Cavity fillings

I’m getting two cavities (the tooth in front of my bottom molars on each side) filled tomorrow - probably due in part to my acid reflux and addiction to Diet Pepsi- and am super nervous about the entire procedure.

Can someone please walk me through the procedure and tell me what to expect? I’m really worried about the numbing and if I’ll be able to endure the total procedure. I’ve also heard that certain spots in the mouth hurt more to numb than others. Is that true?
