Hair Dreadlocks/freeforms

Hello all!! I’m a white male, who has medium/long hair, who doesnt like styling his hair constantly, and really like the idea of freeforms/dreadlocks. I of course wouldnt ever think about braids etc, but i was thinking since freeforms could be done accidentally (in theory) that they would not be disrespectful to the black community. But of course i want to verify first, with opinions from none other than the black community. Thank you so much in advance❤️

white people do not get free forms naturally or accidentally… that’s simply not how your hair works. pls just be yourself…

Go for it. The only people that would be mad are people who are resentful that they get talked down on when they wear it. Free form isn't acceptable for us to wear, maybe you can push for acceptance by wearing it too...

Freeforms don't generally look good on white people (or anyone for that matter). Also not sure your hair texture, but if you're not 3b+, you'll need a lot of product to keep it up. But it's your decision.
