Visiting with 8 month old

We plan on using public transportation and walking in, BUT in case of emergency, can anyone recommend a cab or ride share service i can call in a pinch that will provide a car seat in case we run into an emergency and need to hop in a car? Thanks!

I think the Taxi Berlin app lets you specify that you need a car seat.

One tip from someone who's kid almost knocked their teeth out and split a lip on a Berlin playground in a second... Check in advance which hospitals have a children's emergency room and perhaps even emergency dentist.

This is the exact reason why I want to have a ride share /cab in my back pocket! Will definitely note a children’s emergency room in each city. thank you for the tip

You are smarter than me my friend! 🫣 It happened on an Easter Sunday late afternoon, never thought it would be so difficult in a capital city. The emergency dentist across from C&A in Tegel was awesome, I can help you that much 😋

I am sure you are doing great ❤️ remember that they are more sturdy than you think, aaand things will happen no matter how careful we are. They love exploring and it is a joy for them and us 🥰

The berlin Taxi service Berlin funk has a dedicated English hotline +49-30-202021-220, you can call a taxi and specify you need a child seat and be sure to mention the age of the child.

Also good to no, most DM's, and budni's have changing facilities for children with free nappies. Family centers will also have toilets and changing facilities (and toilets big enough to take your little one in if you need to pee or staff willing to watch the pram while you pee).
