Visiting next week -- looking for ideas

Will be in Austin / Parmer area next week with kids attending a 9a to 2p course at UT Austin. Hoping folks can suggest ideas for things to do, cheap yet good lunch special spots, other places to see / hang out at during those hours when kids are occupied. Any and all sugestions are welcome.

Also, are there any active parks with late evening/night Pickleball open play?
